Our thoughts are with the families in California facing the devastation from the massive wildfires raging throughout the state. According to a report from CoreLogic, there are over 43,000 homes at high or extreme risk, with a total reconstruction cost value (RCV) of approximately $18.3 billion. The RCV is the cost “to completely rebuild a property in the worst-case scenario of total destruction of the structure, including labor and materials by geographic location.”
