Age is just a number, but according to a Bankrate.com study, certain numbers might be better than others when it comes to buying a home. In the study, consumers were asked what is the optimal age to buy a home, with the majority of respondents believing that age to be 28. However, there were some differences between men and women. 25% of men said 25 is ideal, compared to only 12% of women.
