LendingTree, the nation’s leading online lender exchange, today announced its plan to re-launch LendingTree University, a comprehensive program designed to provide loan officers with the best-in-class training necessary to achieve success within the LendingTree Network.
Continuing its commitment to earn consumer trust in one of the largest financial decisions one can make, loan officers will learn the proper technique of engaging a client in a transparent and honorable manner. Upon completion, graduates will earn the LendingTree Gold Leaf certification. The goal of the program is to train 5,000 loan officers each year.
“The changes in the housing and lending market over the past two years mean that now more than ever, borrowers want to transact with someone who is knowledgeable and that they know they can trust,” said LendingTree founder and CEO Doug Lebda. “LendingTree University is another way for us to add value to our lending partners and provide extra assurance to the millions of individuals and families who trust LendingTree in their loan search.”
In an effort to extend the program nationwide, LendingTree has partnered with Vermillion Consulting, Inc. Focusing on consultative, relational and high-integrity solutions will lead to increased loan unit production.
