BBB Recognizes Vermillion Consulting, Inc. for Outstanding Commitment to Ethics

Parent Company to Mortgage Champions® Receives 2019 Torch Award for Ethics from the Better Business Bureau

July 9, 2019 Santa Rosa Beach, FL - The Better Business Bureau of Northwest Florida has recognized Vermillion Consulting, Inc. (VCI), parent company to Dale Vermillion’s ATD Award-winning Mortgage Champions® training, for incorporating excellence and ethics into every aspect of its operations.

Since 1996, the Better Business Bureau has honored companies—like VCI—that demonstrate best practices, leadership, social responsibility and high standards of organizational ethics that benefit their customers, employees, suppliers, shareholders and communities with the Torch Award for Ethics.

“We are immensely honored to receive this prestigious award from one of the world’s foremost consumer advocates, the Better Business Bureau. It’s wonderful to see such a large organization recognize its members’ commitment to ethics in the marketplace,” said Dale Vermillion, VCI Founder and CEO. Vermillion continued, “As an organization that teaches mortgage companies and professionals how to effectively guide homebuyers through one of the largest and most-complex financial decisions they will likely ever make, our company has always prioritized practicing and advocating an ethical approach to sales, customer service, and partnerships. From building all of our core products around our unique OthersFIRST philosophy, to founding and supporting Mortgage Professionals Providing Hope (mpph.org), at VCI we believe in putting people above profits and using what influence and opportunity we have to not only better our industry, but to improve lives and strengthen communities across the world.“

Founded the same year as the Torch Awards program, VCI has—for 23 years—maintained an uncompromising commitment to teach the pivotal importance of putting others needs before one’s own to achieve lasting personal and professional success.

In fact, VCI’s key metric for measuring the impact of its sales, leadership, and customers service training is client adoption of Vermillion’s OthersFIRST approach to life and business.

“Even beyond our commitment to teaching an ethical and effective approach to sales, leadership, and service, our company is deeply committed to seeing the needs of marginalized people and communities met through our nonprofit arm, Mortgage Professionals Providing Hope (MPPH),” added Jake Vermillion, who oversees marketing for VCI as well as general operations and fundraising for MPPH.

Since founding MPPH in 2006, VCI has had life-changing impact both in its own community—through housing and caring for homeless families—and throughout the world. Thousands of impoverished men, women, and children have been given food, shelter, clean water, access to medical care, education and vocational training as result of VCI’s faithful support of MPPH.
