The housing economy is back and better than ever. More than half of the country's home values have not only regained pre-Great Recession levels, but have now pushed past that peak, coming in at 8.4% above the highest point of the housing bubble. The new median home value is up to $217,300, passing the "bubble peaks" in 21 of the nation's 35 biggest housing markets. (Source: MBA/Zillow)
