According to ValueInsured, home buying competition is hot and the process of finding a home is taking longer than many hoped it would. The company's Modern Homebuying Survey for Q2 reported that the average American homeowner tours 7.4 homes before they finally buy one. Baby Boomers toured the most homes (7.8 homes), followed closely by Gen Xers (7.7 homes).

As MLOs, you have to be ready to act quickly as soon as a home becomes available to your customers, otherwise those numbers might continue to increase.
